Today Jaspers is just like an ‘Alice in Wonderland’!
Jaspers Berry was originally a School House, Headmaster’s Residence & Playground
The School House was built in 1897 from the times when there were
one teacher schools in country New South Wales
The school closed in 1968 and stood empty for approximately 20 years
There were just a couple of abandoned weatherboard buildings and a bare paddock
A very talented couple bought Jaspers Brush School in the early 80’s
And started the transformation of Buildings and Gardens that we see Today

Jaspers Brush School
Operated from 1897 – 1968 Children arrived at school by Horse & Cart from surrounding Dairy Farms
In the 1980’s the Schoolhouse was renovated into a Residence and the surrounding Grounds were landscaped
The property was called ‘Woodbyne’
In the 90’s the Schoolhouse operated as a restaurant In 2012 The School House underwent major restoration and the surrounding Gardens were landscaped bridging the past and present…
